What makes us different in the world of thalassotherapy.
Unparalleled know-how over more than 25 years
A forerunner pioneering thalassotherapy in France, Thalassa sea & spa was the first to harness the exceptional qualities of marine environments to offer customers lasting well-being. Thalassa sea & spa experts learnt how to master the secrets of sea-water, the key element of thalassotherapy, distilling its finest qualities while respecting its basic nature.
Commitments to quality that make thalassotherapy a real experience
The quality of sites and stays:
With 15 destinations in France and abroad, Thalassa sea & spa runs the largest network and guarantees recognized service quality at all its sites. Thalassa sea & spa features 6 Premium destinations that combine luxury and refinement, and 8 Authentic destinations focused more on warmth and closeness. They all draw on the Accor Group’s know-how in food and hotel services (2 to 4-star hotels with Ibis, Mercure, Novotel, Pullman and Sofitel).
Quality of water and active marine ingredients:
For optimal purity, the chlorine-free sea-water used at all Thalassa sea & spa centres is taken from the open sea, filtered then heated to 33°C to promote the perfect penetration of all the elements linked to the marine environment (air, algae, trace elements). Thalassa sea & spa is well aware of the fact that natural resources are limited, so since 2002 we have committed to an ISO 14001 certification process aimed at the development of eco-responsible initiatives.
Quality of therapy:
Thalassa sea & spa is built on the know-how of experts (hydrotherapists, physicians, masseurs-physiotherapists, beauticians) that pools technical skills and the management of customer relations around a wide range of therapy programmes (Fitness, Slimness, Harmony, Health, Mother & Baby, Coaching Tonic…)
With Thalassa sea & spa, our commitment is to combine the lasting and acknowledged benefits of thalassotherapy with that of customer well-being and pleasure. Now, thalassotherapy is no longer considered as curative treatment, only a stay of well-being, a combination of the benefits of the sea, of top-end infrastructures and expert, caring personnel.
Additionally, Thalassa sea & spa is affiliated to France Thalasso, the National Union of Thalassotherapy in France (www.france-thalasso.com). Through this commitment, Thalassa sea & spa works to ensure respect for the "Thalassotherapy" label and the fundamental values that are associated with it.
