Culture & Discovery
Anciently know as Dilum, officially Kingdom of Bahrein. The two many islands are Bahrein (the largest) and Al Muharrq, wich are linked to each other and Saudi Arabia by causeway.
Flat and sandy, with a few low hills, Bahrein has a hot, humid climate. For many centuries Bahrein has been famous for its pearls and, before the discovery of oil, pearl diving was the main source of income and the foundation for many of communities on the island.
Bahrein offres divers opportunities for visitors, from dolphin watching trips, shopping, visiting the Bahrein International Circuit, dining, to visit ancient historical sites and museum.
