Active marine agents
Sea air, invigorating and bracing, is reputed for its anti-stress and revitalizing action.
Sea-water provides a three-way action that works wonders for our health. It contains almost a hundred mineral salts (Magnesium, Calcium, Potassium…) and trace elements (Zinc, Iron, Fluorine, Iodine...) that are vital to the organism.
The lift you get from sea-water facilitates body movement and soothes the joints. Last but not least, heated sea-water helps to regulate the blood flow and procures relaxation.
Sea-plants or algae are real concentrates of minerals and trace elements. When applied to the body, warm wraps of sea-plants give pure moments of relaxation.
Therapy programmes are prepared with our thalassotherapy experts according to your needs and subject to availability.
Culture & Discovery
5,000 years of history have made Brittany a region full of legends and extraordinary discoveries. You will enjoy exploring all its wonders. In all four seasons, the Quiberon peninsula offers unforgettable charm and magic: the natural and spectacular beauty of the Côte Sauvage, small sandy beaches, unique sites… Not forgetting its sports activities.
Walks on the Quiberon peninsula
Côte Sauvage: for about 10 km, it proudly faces the Atlantic, tempering its ardour and thus protecting the bay of Quiberon. Tormented seascapes, labyrinths of grottos, rocks, creeks whose beaches are re-sculpted with each new tide, the splendour of this coastline has long inspired painters and photographers.
Picturesque villages: slightly set back from the wildness of the coast, the folds of the moorland shelter little villages whose houses with white or drystone facades are brightened up by blue shutters. The most enjoyable way of benefiting from this excursion is to do it on a bike!
Discovering the region
Get-aways to the islands: Belle-Ile-en-Mer, the largest of Brittany's islands, sumptuous and steeped in history… Île de Houat, a small island on a human scale, peaceful and flowery, without any cars, criss-crossed by pathways that run along its creeks and long beaches of white sand. Île de Hoëdic, the island of all five senses, a tiny, wild garden, a little paradise of serenity.
Vannes: in the shadow of the Cathédrale Saint-Pierre with its circular chapel, a masterpiece dating back to the Renaissance, one strolls through the narrow streets to discover private mansions built of stone, half-timbered walls and little squares.
Gulf of Morbihan: an inland sea with countless isles and islands, unique scenery, enchanting and unforgettable...
Sport comes naturally
Ever-present nature makes you want to surpass yourself and experience rare sensations by practising sport : mountain biking, cycling, horse-riding, tennis, aerial rides, walks fanned by sea-spray along the wild shore. Coastline paths await you all around the peninsula; you simply have to leave the hotel!
Fans of golf will find a driving range opposite the Institute and the 27-hole Saint-Laurent Golf-course on the magnificent site of Ploëmel (30 mins. from Quiberon). It will enchant dedicated golfers with its modern, undulating course and wooded surroundings.
And, of course, a full array of water-sports : sail-boats, dinghies, catamarans, surfing, land yachting, sea kayaks, diving, fishing out at sea...
